Pathfinder has been built with the next steps in mind. So, to protect customers
against changes, we offer free software upgrades until March 2001.
Pathfinder’s speech is software-based. This means converting to other languages is easier than it would be using a hardware-based system. Even now, the German-speaking device is being developed.
The Unity language software will be developed to add more power and offer more options, such as a 32-location version.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that Pathfinder has been developed on a Windows® CE platform and that at some stage we will be able to run other Windows CE software on the device itself.
