The Role of the Manufacturer
in the AAC Service Delivery Process
The original presentation on the topic of “The AAC Service
Delivery Process” was given at the California Speech-Hearing Association
annual conference on Friday22nd March, 2002.
Panel members discussed the critical components of the
AAC Service Delivery process. Participants learned to conduct components
of an AAC assessment and recognize the variables (client, partner, environment
and technology) that influence functional long-term use of AAC.
