Jumping Into AAC You Have To Get Wet
The SpringBoard communication aid contains a number of features to help you
get started. These include Lesson Plans, an Exploration Wizard, pre-stored vocabulary,
and multiple access methods.
With a little imagination and creativity, it is possble to develop customized
teaching materials to further support your use of the device. Armed with little more
than a Word Processor, graphics software, and the PRC Picture Set CD, you can make
lots of teaching tools.
This presentation demonstrates some possibilties. There are also a number of
downloadable materials that have been already designed. These include extra pages to
load into your SpringBoard. Some of the items are in PDF format so you need
to have Adobe
Acrobat Reader available.
