AQLS Alphabetic
The
'Adult Quick Learning System (AQLS)' was designed for people who have
something called Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis, sometimes called 'Lou Gehrig's
disease in the US, or 'Motor Neurone disease (MND)' in the UK.
The Alphabetic Version uses a number of sequences for quick
access to many words and phrases, but uses Word Prediction to supplement
the pre-stored vocabulary. This means that people with a degenerative
condition can use spelling immediately to help them, and then increase
their speed by learning the shortcuts provided by sequencing.
