Printers
When folks find a printer that works well with the Pathfinder, send
me the details and I'll list it here. Remember, I am NOT testing them
myself, just going off other folk's recommendations, based on it working
for them.
Part number DPU-3445
The DPU-3445 is compact and lightweight IR wireless printer available
on the market, measuring just 160mm x 89mm x 29.5mm (WxDxH), and weighing
only 370 grams (including battery). Designed to meet the mobile environment's
demand for durability and reliability, the DPU-3445 features a Lithium-ion
battery with an external charger and 4K bit internal memory. The Lithium-ion
battery's 7.2V DC power (9.3V with the AC adapter), offers 8,000 print
lines on a single charge. THE DPU-3445 also features:
-
Prints 16 or 24 dot numbers, lines, and text.
-
A print speed of 50 mm/second and a resolution of 8 dots/mm.
-

or via the RS-232C port.
With
an output resolution of 1,200 dpi, a speed rating of 10 pages per minute,
and an engine that's built to last, the 2100se is a printer for demanding
users. It doesn't skimp on quality in either text or graphics. It even
accommodates telecommuters -- you can print from your laptop, Palm Pilot,
or PDA, using the 2000se's infrared port. A Growth Opportunity The 2100se
also offers exceptional expandability. Add more RAM, and you can print
large, complex graphics at a faster pace. Add a networking card, and everyone
in the office can share the printer. Add PostScript support, and you can
create a mixed Mac/PC environment. Add the optional 250-sheet paper tray,
and you can cut down on your trips to the printer to reload paper. It
all adds up to a very capable printer.
