Although the Unity® 32 program provides a very comprehensive
solution to the needs of an aided communicator, clearly there will be a need
to customize specific items and activities for each individual.
The program runs on the Pathfinder™ communication aid, which
is a very flexible device in terms of being able to customize. Almost anything
in the machine can be modified. Here is a list of some of the commonest features
that are changed:

Vocabulary items - words, phrases and sentences,

Access methods - change to switch input, headpointing,
or a number of other options
