In this example, the Activity Row along the top contain some common words. The 32 keys on the keyboard remain static whereas the Activity Row can change. This static keyboard contains the “Core” vocabulary, that is, 27 words that are found over and over again in many situations.

By keeping the Core and changing the Activity Row to get situation-specific vocabulary, you can talk about many different topics.
