People choose a vocabulary program for a number of reasons. Some of the more obvious ones are;

Visual - the size of images can be important to individuals who have difficulty in seeing details.

Physical - although a person may have no visual problems, physically accessing keys on a device might be challenging.

Simplicity - for some individuals, the simplicity of 32 locations makes them more likely to use it than the perceived complexity of 128 key.
